About Me
Hello and welcome to Amazing Miracles Doula Services, My Name is Nykol (Nicole). I am an Aurora/Denver based Doula. I'm a Single Mother to Boy/Girl Twins and have personal experience with IVF, Surrogacy, Twin pregnancy & Birth, & C-Sections. I decided to become a Doula after a friend of mine almost delivered her baby in my car after the hospital discharged her for not progressing quick enough, I want to be able to advocate for my clients and make their pregnancy, birth, and post partum experience better then hers.
I am a born and raised Colorado Native, spending majority of my life in Aurora. I am the youngest of four and have 3 older brothers. I decided to become a single mother by choice after being told by doctors that if I didn't have kids before I was 30, I likely wouldn't be able to. I navigated the infertility world after failing to get pregnant and eventually was lead to IVF. I was blessed with Boy/Girl Twins in January 2021 after 5 yrs of unsuccessful treatments. I am so grateful for my children and the experiences I went through as that is where my passion to help others began.
In September 2023 I delivered a beautiful baby girl as a surrogate for an amazing couple in London. It is my belief that anyone who wants to be a parent should have the option, which is why I support all clients not just the laboring parent. Sometimes the parents of the baby aren't the laboring parent, or the birthing partner or support person is the one who needs the doula. I want the birthing and post partum care to be a whole care experience for all involved in the amazing miracle that is about to enter this world.
My role as the birth doula is to provide physical, emotional, informational support, as well as advocacy during pregnancy, labor and birth. To me, there is no wrong way to birth. I am an advocate for the birthing person to birth in a way that feels right for them and their family. During labor, it is especially important for a laboring person to surround themselves with nonjudgmental people that believe in them and their body's ability to birth in the manner that they choose.
